This class invites you to deepen your herbal studies or meet a new herbal ally:
Yarrow, Achillea millefolium through story and experience.
In this class we will discuss the medicinal virtues of yarrow, some of the preferred medicine making extractions including water and oil as solvents, discussing teas vs tinctures. We will deepen into the energetic, herbal actions and explore internal and external therapeutic qualities of this medicinal plant.
Students will sample teas and infused oils and take home recipes, monograph and a special gift, along with an understanding of how, why and when to use this plant as medicine.
This class is offered by Kate August, long time teacher at the California School of Herbal Studies, medicine maker, acupuncturist, herbal practitioner and overall herb enthusiast.
